Why we give.
At Mount Vernon Baptist Church, we give as an act of worship, obedience, and gratitude. Our giving reflects our trust in God as our provider and our commitment to support the work of ministry, outreach, and service in our community and beyond. As the Bible teaches in 2 Corinthians 9:7, “God loves a cheerful giver.” Every gift—great or small—helps us carry out the mission of spreading the Gospel, nurturing spiritual growth, and meeting the needs of others with the love of Christ.
