Our vision is to implement the “Great Commission” in such a way that the Mount Vernon Missionary Baptist Church will become a place where the hurting, the depressed, the frustrated, and the confused can find love, acceptance, help, hope, forgiveness, guidance, and encouragement.

Our mission is to reach out with compassion to the needy and proclaim the good news of Jesus Christ to the lost within the Nellieville, Grand Boulevard, Olive Road, and Calvary Drive communities.
